Our "Unique" Layout -

Our unique facility consists of nine different learning stations in which the children rotate around - unlike the traditional daycare where the children are "stuck" in one room the whole day. Our stations are focused on:

1. Literacy & Math Station Developmentally appropriate daily lessons in language, beginning letter recognition, early phonics, and pre-reading skills. Our early literacy units develop vocabulary that promotes phonological awareness, print awareness and letter recognition. our math curriculum emphasizes early recognition of numbers, values, matching and patterns.

2. Science & Social Studies Station
Conducting experiments, solving problems, predicting outcomes and comparing. Social Studies will also incorporate learning about our world and our surroundings.

3. Art & Sensory Station Daily art and sensory activities will be incorporated in lesson plans to enhance visual perception and fine motor skills.

4. Tech Zone Station In the Tech Zone, children will watch educational DVDs or play interactive games that will enhance their learning experiences.

5. Life Skills, Character Development & Drama Station Drama and dramatic play will help develop imagination and an awareness of the feelings of others. YCA has a 52 week character program which includes life principles and daily life skills.

6. Coordination Learning Station Emphasizing balance, motor control, spatial awareness, visual tracking and eye hand coordination. Different games will make fun never ending.

7. Movement Skills for Life Learning Station Emphasizing development of movement skillls such as balance, walking, running, sprinting, hopping, skipping, jumping, landing, sliding, throwing, catching, and kicking. our patented curriculum starts your little one on a journey of proper movement skills.


8. Sport Play Learning Station Utilizing baseline sportskills, YCA wiill improve neurological aspects of all our "little biddies". Introduction on how to throw a baseball, how to dribble a basketball or how to throw a football will be covered in an easy to understand way.

9. Movement & Music Learning Station Emphasizing all aspects of movement in combination with music. Research states that kids learn at a higher rate when physical movement is combined with rhythm.
